SATs stands for Statutory Assessment Tests and are taken at the end of year 2 and 6. 

The leaflet below is for parents with children in primary school. It sets out how the results from the key stage 1 and key stage 2 national curriculum assessments are used to calculate primary school progress measures. It also explains what these progress measures mean.

Exam and assessment results were not published for 2019/20 or 2020/21 year due to Coronavirus. Please be aware the data below from 2018/19 is not current.

Early Years Data July 2019


Children are deemed to have achieved Good Level of Development (GLD) if they have achieved the Early Learning Goals (ELG) in the Early Years curriculum. These areas are: Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Physical Development, Communication and Language Development, Literacy and Mathematics.
