New Home Learning Resources!
Oak National Academy:
You can access 180 lessons a week for every year group from Reception through to year 6, through a new online platform, Oak National Academy. The enterprise which has been set up by teachers and is funded by the Department of Education, will provide video lessons for students, with each lesson coming with a corresponding quiz and worksheet. According to the Ambition Institute, each lesson will last one hour and the portal will provide the equivalent of three hours of lessons a day for primary students and four hours for secondary.
BBC Bitesize Daily Lessons:
BBC has also launched its own star-studded education service today, which features David Attenborough, Oti Mabuse, Sergio Agüero, Danny Dyer, as well as lessons from 200 real, working teachers. You'll find daily lessons for homeschooling in Maths and English for every year group, as well as regular lessons in Science, History, Geography and more.
